In short
The 2027 Tour Championship, the last event of the FedExCup Playoffs, runs from August 25 to 29, 2027 at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, with the four rounds from Thursday, August 26 to Sunday, August 29. The closest beds are rental homes in Kirkwood and the neighborhoods around the club; for hotels, look at Decatur, about 10 minutes away, or Downtown and Midtown Atlanta, about 15 minutes by car outside rush hour. The tournament calls rideshare the preferred way to arrive, with a dedicated gate on 2nd Avenue. Tickets for 2027 are not on sale yet; in 2026 they went on sale in mid April.

Getting in: parking, shuttles and gates
General parking has been off site (downtown in 2025, Lakewood Amphitheatre in 2026), and the tournament calls rideshare the preferred way to arrive: Uber is the official partner and drops off and picks up at the Rideshare Gate on 2nd Avenue. In 2026 the paid general lot was at Lakewood Amphitheatre in south Atlanta (USD 25 plus fees, bought in advance, Sunday sold out) with air-conditioned shuttles to the course; the 2027 plan is not out yet, and the lot was downtown in 2025, so check before you book. MARTA's Blue Line stops at East Lake station, about 1.8 miles away, and MARTA bus 34 stops near the north and south ends of the course on 2nd Avenue. In 2026 gates opened at 9 am on Wednesday and 10 am Thursday to Sunday, bags had to be no bigger than 6 x 6 x 6 inches (or clear and up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches), phones were fine on silent with calls only in set areas, and the site was cashless.
- Rideshare Gate (2nd Avenue)GateThe dedicated rideshare drop-off and pick-up on 2nd Avenue, on the west side of the course. Enter "TOUR Championship" in the Uber app. Pin is approximate.
- General parking lot (Lakewood Amphitheatre, 2026)ParkingThe paid general lot in 2026, with air-conditioned shuttle buses to the course. The lot changes from year to year and the 2027 plan is not out yet.
- East Lake MARTA stationTrain or busThe nearest rail station, on the Blue Line, about 1.8 miles north of the gate. It is a long walk. MARTA bus 34 stops on 2nd Avenue at Memorial Drive and at Glenwood Avenue, near the north and south ends of the course.
House rules
- Phones
- Allowed
- Bags
- 2027 policy not published. In 2026: opaque bags up to 6 x 6 x 6 inches or clear bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches, plus strollers and diaper bags; free bag check at every entry for bags that do not fit the rules; your own food in a 1 gallon clear bag; empty reusable cups or bottles up to 32 oz, with free water refill stations; no memorabilia (pin flags, photos, cards, balls); no video cameras all week, and no point and shoot, film or DSLR cameras on competition days (allowed on practice days with a lens under 6 inches and no case), per the PGA Tour permitted items list (2024); no laptops, signs, coolers or selfie sticks. Phones on silent, calls only in set areas, photos and video for personal use, no live streaming. Cashless venue. Gates opened at 09:00 on Wednesday and 10:00 Thursday to Sunday.
- Parking
- 2026 plan, 2027 not yet announced: the general lot was at Lakewood Amphitheatre in south Atlanta (about 8 miles from the course), Wednesday to Sunday, with air-conditioned shuttle buses to the gates. Passes cost USD 25 plus taxes and fees, limit two per person per day, digital only and bought in advance; Sunday sold out. ADA parking was at the same lot with a general pass and a valid placard, with accessible buses. In 2025 the lot was at the Georgia World Congress Center downtown, so the site changes from year to year. Rideshare (Uber is the official partner) drops off and picks up on 2nd Avenue at the Rideshare Gate, and the tournament calls rideshare the preferred way to arrive.
- Shuttle
- The only official shuttle in 2026 ran from the paid Lakewood Amphitheatre parking lot to the course; no hotel or public shuttle was announced. MARTA rail does not stop at the course: the Blue Line's East Lake station is about 1.8 miles north, and MARTA bus 34 from East Lake station stops on 2nd Avenue at Memorial Drive and at Glenwood Avenue, at the north and south corners of the course's 2nd Avenue side. It leaves 2nd Avenue between those stops, so it does not pass the course frontage.
How to get tickets
Buy only from TOURChampionship.com or the tournament's Ticketmaster page, which also runs the official fan to fan resale; the PGA Tour does not stand behind tickets bought elsewhere.
