Where to watch at the WM Phoenix Open
Start early at the 16th, then work back along the 17th and 18th to the finish by the clubhouse.
-
Hole 16
The 16th (the Coliseum)
A short par 3 inside a full stadium of grandstands, and the reason many fans come. Arrive soon after the gates open, as the line for a general admission seat gets long, especially on Saturday.
-
Hole 17
The 17th
A short par 4 where players often try to drive the green, so a bold shot can mean an eagle chance. A good spot to see the leaders take risks late on Sunday.
-
Hole 18
The 18th
The finishing hole by the clubhouse, where the tournament is won. Stake out a spot here in the afternoon on the weekend.
-
Hole 16
Free practice days
Monday and Tuesday are free for everyone and usually calmer than the weekend, a relaxed way to see the players up close at the 16th and learn your way around the course.
